Connecting tutors with learners.

At Giving Education, we believe anyone with a passion can be a teacher. Our goal is to connect students in need with aspiring volunteers who want to help. Giving Education aims to provide underserved communities with valuable virtual educational resources by connecting them to qualified volunteers around the country.

Any United States resident aged 15 or older is eligible to apply to become a Giving Education tutor. Selected applicants will be free to choose when and how much they would like to tutor, and will be paired with students needing help in the tutors' subjects of expertise.

Tutoring sessions are carried out via Zoom calls, and can be completed by anyone with a working internet connection and camera-enabled laptop, smartphone, or tablet device.

Any student in grades 3-12 is encouraged to apply for tutoring opportunities, and assistance is available in every subject! While Giving Education primarily connects shelters, Boys and Girls clubs, youth groups, and school districts with tutors, individual students are always welcome to request tutoring.

If you are an organizer of a shelter, Boys and Girls club, or youth group and have means to access virtual tutoring sessions (stable internet access and at least one camera-enabled device) please reach out to us! We are always looking to take on new students, and have tutors available to cover a wide variety of subject areas. Giving Education is completely free of cost, and will work in coordination with tutors to pair students to compatible tutors.
